The Incredible Petrified World Science fiction film. Retro sci fi movie about four undersea explorers who travel down into the depths in an experimental diving bell when the cable snaps, leaving them stranded
on the bottom. Luckily they manage to scuba dive to some nearby livable underwater caverns and await rescue. While waiting to be rescued, the group runs across a crazy old sailor named Matheny who’s been living in the cave for years. They find a skeleton of another sailor, whom they learn the old sailor is responsible for. The rest of the story deals with their attempts to escape and return to the surface world.
